When a ruthless developer and a sentimental bridal shop owner clash, sparks fly.

No stranger to loss, Tami Morrelle is holding on with one satiny thread to the only thing she has left that ties her to her loved ones – the family bridal shop.

Local bad boy Daniel Ramsey is back in town and on a mission – to turn Tami’s world upside down – any way he can.

Daniel needs Tami’s beachfront home and business to complete his crowning achievement as a successful developer. His latest proposal hinges on buying former high school classmate Tami’s land to make it happen. More importantly, it will show those in Loving who were convinced he’d amount to less than nothing they were dead wrong about him.

For Daniel, it’s Loving or nothing. For Tami, selling out to Daniel will leave her with nothing. But when the ruthless developer and sentimental bridal shop owner clash, sparks fly.

A secret crush. Two wounded hearts. Will Daniel and Tami be willing to give up what they think they need and open their hearts to what really matters in Loving?

Loving or Nothing was a really nice romance. Tami (Tamsen) owns a bridal shop and lives in her family's Victorian house that she is very attached to but fears losing because of financial troubles. She is sweet, beautiful, and still believes in the good in people but she is leery of romance due to a bad experience. Daniel, the handsome, dynamic and wealthy contractor, returns to Loving in order to demonstrate that, despite being the town's bad boy when he was younger, is now a successful businessman. Daniel, who had a secret crush on Tami (that was reciprocated), needs to buy Tami's house in order to build a hotel complex on the property. Both of them try very hard to convince the other to give in until they realize they love each other and solve the problem. There is, of course, a happy ending.

This story had excellent writing and editing (only a few small mistakes) and the dialogue really helped to demonstrate the well-rounded and likable personalities of the characters as well as move the plot smoothly from beginning to (the happy) end. The imagery was very well done and really helped me to get attached to the story. I very much enjoyed reading Loving or Nothing and I am happy to recommend it to others.

In addition, there is a complete short story -- not an excerpt -- given for free called Accidental Love at the end of the book. It was a very nice surprise as well as being well-written and enjoyable.

Loving Or Nothing edition by Cara Marsi Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

A light romantic novel that ticked all the boxes an easy read.
A good story line definetly worth a read.
Cara Marsi is one of my favorite authors. Her way with words keeps you wondering until the end how they will work out their differences. I love reunion stories and this one delivered on all my expectations. You won't be disappointed.
This was a quick, pleasant read. It's also written (and edited) very well. That was a pleasant change from some of the books I've experienced. The author obviously puts a lot of effort into good writing technique.

For me, the downside was that it was such a familiar and predictable plot. The characters were just what I expected, and so were the events of the story. I kept hoping for a little twist here or there, but there really weren't any surprises along the way.

I'd read another book by this author, because her writing is so crisp. I'll just be hoping for a little more complexity and a touch of the unexpected.
This book was enjoyable. I loved the characters right from the beginning. Second chance romances always tug at my heart and this story did not disappoint me. Cara Marsi did an excellent job with this sweet romance.
Because I once lived in New Jersey and knew the areas well Ms. Marsi described, it was like a homecoming to read "Loving or Nothing". Vivid descriptions lent a 3-D background to a heartfelt story of two deserving, well-written characters who reunite and find love. I felt for Tami's struggle to stay afloat and keep her grandmother's home filled with cherished memories, and loved how Daniel's character grew the more he came to care for Tami. The ending twist in this enjoyable read gives a satisfying Happy Ever After. I gave it 4 stars, only because I wish it was longer.
I quite liked this pretty short story (it finished at about 70%). There were no twists and turns and was a little too predictable. It was nicely written and the characters were likeable. The general story was that the H was a successful businessman returning to the town where he grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. The h had grown up with him and he always felt she was too good and innocent for him back in the day. He comes back wanting to buy her property for a hotel development but she doesn't want to sell for sentimental reasons.
Short and sweet, just the way I like my books. The book actually contains two short - the second shorter than the first - stories.

The first story, Loving or Nothing, was a sweet story of the former high school bad boy returning to his home town to prove he has not only changed, but deserves respect. The girl he had always secretly attracted to since high school, had the property he required to go forward with his big development project. Only problem, she did not want to sell, and, although attracted to him, she did not trust him, or any man. Can they overcome prior baggage and make a life together?

The second, very short, story was also about a girl previously done wrong, with trust issues.

Quick read. Written for the general market. PG13 for content.
